Yet, they freely dump the same rubbish at vacant houses, nursing homes and laundrymats, thinking they won't be challenged there.
LOL - so true. I used to love it when I'd get a vacant house out in service. I'd stand there for as long as I could without rousing suspicion.

My son is in love with a puzzle
by mrsjones5 inyesterday i bought my son (he's 2, soon to be 3 tomorrow) a $1 puzzle of united states.
i bought it because we have a much bigger floor puzzle of the us but it's too big for him to keep trying to put together, it gets in the way.
he instantly fell in love with the puzzle.

You just brought back a great memory for me. When my daughter was two, I bought her the same puzzle. As she would put it together, I would tell her the name of each state. We did that almost every day for I can't remember how long, because she loved it so much. She got to where she'd ask for the pieces by name and she would bite her crackers and sandwiches into the shapes of states.
I can still see her lying on her belly on the living room floor with that puzzle, singing a song she made up, "I'll be brokenhearted cuz all the people are starv-ed." Guess she had a twisted sense of humor even then.

I forgot about this one. I was at the U.S. Open with my Bethelite uncle and play was interrupted with a lengthy rain delay. My uncle curled up on the covered bleachers and went to sleep, so I went under the stands and hung out with the umpires outside the players' locker room. Vitas Gerulaitis asked me if I wanted to go muff diving with him and I said, "I don't know what that means, but okay!" He just laughed at me...now he's all dead. *insert sad face emoticon here*

"For any that don't know, Six and I were roomates back then. "
And, as I recall, you were the roommate from hell. Remember when you got locked out and so you broke Six's bedroom window (not your own) to get in and then you told the apartment manager that it was a burglar?
I was just thinking though, that if I hadn't been hanging around with you, Six and I might not have ended up all married to each other and our daughter might not exist. Hmmm....THANKS, Perry. And congrats on number two kid!
Okay, back to your regularly scheduled topic. -

I've been debating about whether to respond to this or not, but what the hell... I was a bit of a musician/baseball groupie when I led a double life as a teenager. It would probably be easier to name teams and bands than individuals. ;-)
Actually, I don't think I'll name any at all - I just want to say I love the 1986 or '87 Minnesota Twins (can't remember exactly now), especially Mickey Hatcher. Still haven't figured out how I managed to stay a virgin until I got married.
Celebrity sightings: Janeane Garofalo walking down 6th Ave. in NYC
Jacquelyn Bissett wearing a long, flowing white dress and riding a Moped through Soho in the '80s.
Ian McKellen with his superfine boy-toy in a restaurant in New Orleans on St. Patrick's Day.
And another great St. Patrick's Day way back when: I got hit on by Randy White from the Dallas Cowboys in a Bennigans. (LOL)
Oh, and I gave a ride to Larry Mullins' (sp?) (drummer for U2) brother once, also in the '80s. He was stranded at the Dallas airport because the limo didn't pick him up, so my girlfriend and I gave him a ride to his hotel. He invited us up to meet the band (yes, THE band), but we were in full-on JW guilt mode and said no. I can't believe we said no. So damn close...
Fun thread, Miss C. You've brought back some fond memories today. -

Some people suck.
That's ok. I got over it....or did I? Maybe I wouldn't still be talking about it if I was truly over it. I don't know.
That's what we're here for - you need to talk about it and we want to hear it. (((Merry)))
